Top 5 robust Google tools that every blogger must exploit

I did not know what blogging meant till 2012. Interestingly back of my ignorant mind, blog-writing was functioning as million dollar industry and thousands of business as well as individual were earning fortunes from it.

To give a clear idea in 2012, one of the major blogging and publishing businesses - Huffington Post was sold for more than $300 million to AOL.

Currently, in 2015 blogging industry is raging like wild fire across business and has evolved as a noticeable marketing tool. Right now over 85% of marketers have adhered to writing blogs once a week the least.

If you too didn’t know what a ‘Blog’ is, then following definition might help:

Definition-1: “It is a dynamic web page or any page on any website that is regularly updated with informational content.”

Definition-2: “It is an online journal or dairy that one maintains to offer vital information related to their subject.”

You can also see 2500000 other definitions with a simple Google search:

Probably you just got a decent background of what blogs are! But it’s not just about writing. Among millions of people who are posting similar subjects on daily basis, it is vital that you have to engrave a concrete content. On top of that, marketing it (optimizing the blog for search engine) and earning bucks from it is another ball game.

But you are in for luck as the ‘God of search- Google’ has made it possible with its free tools to achieve aforementioned blogging capabilities in no time. Trust me I used them and now my blogs appears on first page of Google with relevant keywords. So what are the Google tools for bloggers?

 1. Google Trends:

While you go for blogging you are expected to know your subject really well. On the other hand punching your delicate brain can help you reach some insight, yet you might kill time and by the end of the day blogging can result in a painful job than a relishing experience.

This is where Google Trends comes in. Instead of thinking too much yourself, think with Google:

The Google Trends uses real-time search data to facilitate users determine consumer search behaviours since 2004.

Just enter the terms you want to compare in the +Add term box and results will be in front of you. It infact offers wide range of options to compare the data wrt. 'Time’, ‘Region’ (country/city) and ‘Related search term’. I compared Fashion, Automotive Industry and Real Estate.

Using this brilliant tool, you can focus on what to write, which region you want to spotlight and depending on current trends, how can your blog prove to be really helpful for the readers. As let me remind you- your readers are the star of the show not you.

Google trend along with bloggers act as the ultimate weapon to segment plus target the products and services for marketers. Also someone did tell me that if you wish to make a viral post or video, then exploit Google Trend in and out (bearing in mind most searches are done on Google and not other search engines).  Click here to go to Google Trends.
